The Guest House (12 rooms en-suite) is for those who want to spend some prayerful days in a monastic setting. Those who come are invited to attend the liturgies in the abbey church which take place several times each day. Meals are provided and, if any guest desires some spiritual guidance, that can be arranged.

Occasionally, the Guest House welcomes groups which want to work through a particular agenda. This can include help from members of the community. But for the most part, people come as individuals and so more easily absorb the atmosphere which is provided by monastic space.

Glenstal Abbey is about 12 miles (20km) from Limerick city. Taxis can be taken from the city train and bus station. Consult the contact page for details on how to get to Glenstal. For further information, write, send a fax or send an e-mail to the guestmaster@glenstal.org.
