The Guest House

The monks welcome guests who wish to have some quiet time and attend the liturgies in the Abbey Church which take place several times a day. The majority of guests who visit the Abbey do so to make a private retreat which provides time for rest, reading, reflection and prayer. A directed retreat provides the private retreat experience plus regular one-to-one conversation with a spiritual director.

To reserve a room in the Abbey Guest House for an individual retreat please email guestmaster@glenstal.org or call 061 621005. Please specify if you wish to meet with a spiritual director when making your booking.
